Today’s Topic: Alternative Cancer Treatments
Recently, I visited Tower Health and Diet Foods and met a gentleman who was buying several items for friends with cancer. He had prostate cancer but opted out of chemotherapy, swearing by his natural regimen. He took cloves, black walnut extract, wormwood complex, and dog dewormer, claiming he was cancer-free.
Ivermectin, the active ingredient in dog dewormer, has been studied for its anti-cancer effects, including inducing apoptosis in cancer cells and inhibiting angiogenesis. Studies show that cloves, particularly their active compound eugenol, can help inhibit cancer cell growth. Black walnut, rich in juglone, has also demonstrated anticancer properties, and wormwood’s artemisinin compound shows promise in fighting cancer by inducing apoptosis.
Personal Story
Personally, my stepmom passed away from pancreatic cancer. If I had known about these treatments earlier, I might have approached her care differently. Chemo ravaged her body, and after insurance ran out, they gave up on her. That’s why I believe alternative treatments deserve attention.
